– Drafted scripts for a feature length narrative film telling a child’s imagined memory of a summer time with his friends, beating up the horrible “Dark Wind Monster”, and saving the entire village
– Guided actors’ performances on set
– Worked with cameraperson for framing and lighting set up
– Solo – edited the entire film, which now is in late post-production
An Anshan Story / Editor
March 2019 – June 2019, New York, NY
– Worked on a feature documentary telling the life story of an old couple who experienced dramatic mishap after Cultural Revolution in the 1980s
– Researched and found multiple usable footage for the film
– Organized archival footage with director, with FileMaker Pro and Google Sheet
– Added new, licensed audio library music entries into the film
– Storyboarding with director and wrote script for necessary title cards or narration
– Created basic motion graphics for the archival footage
– Selected the best sound bite from interview
